It's very neat, thanks for sharing. You do want to keep in mind that flying in fog or clouds can cause water damage at  the time.

No, it gets into the main body, and that's where all the electronics are. Also, DJI fit their aircraft with moisture sensors on the main board, so if water is detected, they can refuse warranty service.
