Hi everyone, I recently took the Mavic to the Seychelles and it got attacked by what appears to be a swarm of angry bees or something:

The Mavic has since been ill on occasions:

Despite all of this it performed well in challenging flight environments during the beginning of the Raining Season on the Seychelles:

Any feedback/recommendations would be helpful, thanks

Beautiful! Maybe your mavic is having an alergic reaction to the bee stings?

When I was flying to film a waterfall in the thick forest of that Island I was on, after about 5 min I noticed a swarm of something around the Mavic.
I started to do evasive maneuvers to try and get away from them. They followed it and kept on attacking it (I assume)
Some of them got shredded in the props and the Mavic was pretty messed up after, I cleaned it good, no problems, tough little thing.

When I descended they kept on following it all the way down. I had mosquito spray with me so I sprayed it towards the mavic as it came down (1 hand flying at this point). The bees or whatever it was went as soon as the spray got close.

Mavic survived, flying through rain, strong wind, at night, being attack by countless insect and sorts. Great machine.

those look pretty similar I must say. I wondered if the Mavic's specific engine noise or size/appearance makes them aggravating to some species of bee or wasp?

Was wondering the same, if the Mavic's buzz was similar in frequency to a predatory hornet or some enemy bee? Crazy.

I don't have much to say! Fantastic video one thing I think a lot of people suffer with in there videos is trimming them down to around 2-3 minutes because they have so many great shots. I love the way you utilized a lot of your long shots by speeding them up which can sometimes be very jarring however, you have some very smooth transitions here! Seriously great job. I'm sure your videos will only keep getting better so keep up the hard work. w

I noticed that Seagulls hate the Inspire, they actively circle and follow it and do close flybys.
They ignore the Mavic, they get slightly annoyed/curious from the Phantom.

Must also have something to do with the size? Inspire is large enough to resemble a threat, a large predator bird. The Mavic is too small to cause them to think it could do them harm, seagulls are much larger than the Mavic.

Oh and here is 2/3:
