sooo I have a P4p plus and one battery from old phantom 4.
Every time that i whant to fly with old batt. this is what I get

firmware upgrade!!!
So what to do? Have I miss something?

Probably needs a firmware update to make it compatible with P4P. I've seen a few posts about it before somewhere but not sure how you force it to do on update. I would guess it would just put up the banner on the DJI Go 4 app on home screen.

I too am a recipient of this anomoly...

Battery fails to authenticate after firmware download. The temporary fix is to go back to your last firmware and your flight pack will work as it did before. They are aware and have a fix in the works...
I did return the flight pack that failed the authentication after I was able to source a batt that did work with the latest FU.
