If you find it acceptable keep the mavic, otherwise return for a refund. Don't make the mistake as other, myself included. I realized the video to be bad too late.

It's my first dron sonce parrot ar v2 from 3years ago.  So compared to that 720p video this will be super awsome   Also you cant really compare point and shoot to dslr or mirroless since they serve different purpose

Sick and tired of these complainers.  It's better than the P4.  Don't buy it if you are going to complain; we don't like people who just bring negativity to the forums.  

Haha.  "Sub-par" what a third-world-problem.  Something is seriously wrong with the ungratefulness in the world. Fifteen years ago, the video shot on this would be worth tens of thousands, possibly millions, of dollars, because of its unheard-of quality.

No it does not have better video quality than a P4 by the way.

Good God. Sub par video? Give me a break or go back to the P3 forums. The person is happy with his purchase and I'm happy for him. But be sure to come in here and take a dump on his parade. As far a video quality I've very happy with it (and yes I have a Inspire but you don't see me comparing the two). Is it the best you can get? No. But that's besides the point. It takes very good video which is easily corrected in post if you are not happy with the results. The point of the Mavic is to be able to put it up at a moment's notice and get great images (which it does). There are a multitude of wonderful videos out there showing the capabilities of the Mavic system. I'm happy with it and I hope the OP has very good luck out of his.

Like RearView said, you don't need to rain on his parade.  I can tell you are a little kid who thinks he is cool by calling me a "noob."  This isn't a video game.  Life is not a video game with some people being "noobs" and some people being pros.  I have owned both drones, and I know that the Mavic is far better in sun and in bright lighting than the P4.  Check out some mavic pro sunsets taken with it vs P4.
