Hey Guys,

I received my drone recently and I'm keen to fly it as much as possible. As I'm living in Sydney this seems to be a hard job. I wanted to go and fly in the Royal Botanical Garden today but during my investigations I already figured out that flying over the Sydney Harbour is prohibited. In addition it's also not allowed to fly closer than 5 km to any Helipad, which there are a lot in and around Sydney (And also two of them pretty close to the Royal Botanical Garden).

I'm really having hard times figuring out where I'm allowed and where not.

I'm aware of the CASA rules, not flying higher than 120m and keeping the drone in sight but that doesn't really help too much when it comes to the other restrictions.

Any help is appreciated.

On top of that, I would be interested if it's allowed to fly a drone (my Mavic) at the eastern beaches (not over the beach but close by) and/or Manly. Thanks!
