I have a brand new Mavic Pro.
In his maiden flight, today, after i connected the drone, a remote control calibration error appeared.
Ive calibrated the remote 6 or 7 times, with no effect; the error "right stick remains" - i made a youtube vid - plz see link -
Only one stick moves (the right one, the one with the error) so the calibration times out... [size=14.6667px]What I don't have is "tap to finish"
Ive saw several videos, tried everything.
Any help ?
Cant wait to fly my new bird, and this is very dissapointing...
I calibrate both sticks at the same time. Can you start with the left one. or better still if you do them both together, do you get any response from the left stick?
I am on android goapp 4 software which looks slightly different to your controller calibration interface, so I suppose it could be an apple problem that I am unaware of.
It does time relatively quickly, so doing both sticks at the same time saves time.
Hi.
Goapp 4 latest version here- Tried with iphone 6s (video) and with ipad mini.
Didint work with any of the latest-
Left stick doesent work at all and gimbal doesnt either.
Can only move the right stick ,, plz see vid.
Guys, (and girls), the support said i should restart the remote.
So i did.
Didnt work; same controller error (stick error RE_CONTROL STICK)
Downgraded firmware via dji assistant 2: problem remains.
RC calibration is not subject to environmental issues (interference, etc) . Left stick looks DOA. I think you'll have to return it for replacement.
Only other possibility I can think of is trying to load a different firmware version just to see if it changes anything, but it sure looks like a hardware issue.
So my advice would be to return it for a new unit. You have two weeks to return your item - after that you own it. Take it from me...you DON'T want to own a lemon. I mean...you can send it back for repair, but I've found that to be an exhaustive process. I'm on my second repair and have yet to have in my possession a drone that works since I purchased it.
