So this morning, I had my P4P out for its 3rd fight, getting some sunrise pics/videos.  My front LED is set to on in the DJI Go 4 app.  

What I noticed is that whenever I have video recording, the front red LED's will be off.  As soon as I stop recording, they turn back on again.  Is this normal?

Of course you do realize there is a reason for that. And that is because the LEDs can cause flare on the lens which can be seen  in pictures/videos. Worse at night of course.
So run a test and see if you would rather turn them off.
