I've been doing digital photography since the early 90's.  Spent a lot of money on cameras -- and lenses -- latest is a Canon 60D and 3 L lenses.  Have had my P4P+ for 3 weeks.  This evening got some shots at dusk.  A little post processing is Photoshop, but files are clean, good pixels.  Still learning optimal settings on P4P camera, but am happy.  Low light is always a test, and the 1" sensor performs well.
Note that these are on a lake in MA, USA.  Mostly ice, some open water.  Looking forward to summer.

It is nice to hear from someone with real camera experience and also a realistic expectation as to what results you will get from the Phantom camera. Good luck.

I am still new to droning. Been flying less than a month.  I took these today. They are not edited.
Actually sometimes I think editing is not always necessary.  I take video and stills.

Hi All-
I'm probably preaching to the choir, but that sensor was the reason I purchased the P4P in the first place. The sensor is a Sony Xmor CMOS, the same one used in my  Sony RX100IV. It is nothing short of amazing! Some of the images I have made with the Sony have blown me away! My P4P images are right on par with the Sony. Too bad DJI didn't equip the P4P with Carl Zeiss optics like Sony uses...that would really make the bird stellar!

AGREE!!!

I'd like a 2.8 constant aperature 300mm zoom too -- maybe on the P7P...  I'd like to be able to zoom in on birds / ducks on my lake.  Below is a video I did on some cool ducks we have -- zoom would help

In my 4x4 3.2l Turbo Diesel Wildtrak.   I am droning in the area's surrounding where I live.
I'm just lucky to live in Alishan in Taiwan.
