so I still haven't had a chance to fly yet as its too cold here in Canada, but I went out and bought a iPad mini 2 because my Galaxy Note 4 didn't have the flight simulator in it. ANYWAY.... messing with the pilot app I started in camera mode set everything up and marked my home point which showed in my neighborhood didn't take off....I switched over to simulator to check it out and came back to camera mode to notice my home point got changed to 10000 miles away in the ocean, I wounldnt have noticed if I was paying attention to the tiny map in the bottom right hand corner....

I wonder if the people that are claiming flyaway maybe this is what happened?...maybe missed checking their home point again?  I'm noticing my connection randomly gets dropped and I have to reset everything to get things working again, so I can see at this point when my connection drops the aircraft will go home....10000 miles away....
