Hey Gents.

Just got a Phantom 4 and before even running it I was just looking at the Quad and the controller and it 'asked' me to update the firmware to 1.80 on the RC, so I did.

Anyway, everything worked great except I have no picture, well almost none on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 edition. After much trial and error I heard that it was the 1.80 Firmware upgrade. So I rolled back to the 1.60 and I am Golden

So, is it still OK to fly on the 1.60 Firmware?  It's the only way I can get an image of any use on the screen. It's a great picture actually and very smooth.

Being new and all, I am a bit worried that the 1.60 is not quite OK?

you should be fine,
I use 1.6 myself and many others with similar video problems from 1.8 do also.
