do you recharge your batteries from 20% or do you discharge them further before charging and if so.... other than just leaving the mavic in standby until the battery runs down... is there a better way of discharging?

There's no reason to discharge down to a certain level before charging a battery. Having said that, the manual recommends that batteries be left at 40%-65% for long-term storage and a battery will begin to self-discharge down to that level (if it's above it) beginning after a configurable number of days (10 is the default).

Optimally, you want to discharge your batteries to roughly 50% if you are storing them for a while (and the batteries will do that automatically after the days you set in the app --the default is 10 days) but you do not need to discharge them prior to charging for a flight.

cool. thank you. I tend to run mine down to 20% when I fly but wondered if charging them from this point was ok.
