Maybe you misundertood my point that I highlight - is it immediately reset to zero with motors switch off.

I know that new home point / zero will register with next takeoff. I just didn't expect altitude to zero out without starting new flight. The model was not flown again that session.
As you know - when we tap Take-off ... we hear and see message that Home point is set.

I would imagine the home point is set when you lift off not when motors are shut down.
So you land.  You move your drone to a new home point, or flew and landed at another location.  
When you take off is when the home point is initialized.

Think you are drifting of the point.

The AC landed showing correct -4m. I had no intention to fly again. I shut of motors and that -4m immediately changed to 0. That was unexpected.
The Home Point distance didn't change.... which I do not expect to change.

I never moved or initiated another take-off or function.

Sure, zero feet when you power up your drone for flight again.

I have landed below my take off point.  Take off and new zero altitude as the drone also recalculates the 1640ft /500m max limit which you can see in your logs.

So yes when you shut down the drone would make a new altitude point.

Argtek have I done 2.3km no issues.

I have Icarus 27db installed.

Back to Zero at landing ... I did not expect it to reset at motors off ... I would have thought it would not care and shut off with same number displayed.

I know take-off first it initialises Home Point and Altitude.
