Hello everyone!
I finally had some time last night to edit a video that I shot weeks ago at an abandoned harbor in Kuwait. I know some of the shots looked like they were out of focus but I guess its just because of the lighting conditions (in compare to the ones where the sun was still up). I hope that you like the video anyway

I was surprised that they weren't lol. I kind of got closer and closer but none of them cared, so I took my time haha. I can't think of any "secrets" unless you have a question about any shot!

Very nice work!  Love the location and subject.  

Looks great. The only thing I would change is bumping the exposure up a few stops.

Maybe they have nothing normally to fear? Or maybe no predator in that part of the world makes the same kind of sound?

What color setting did you use, and did you grade later in post? Wondering how much is owed to the ambient light and how much you manipulated it to your liking, I guess.

Well, I did play with the highlights and shadows in all of the shots. I also increased "warmth/cast" in the shots where the sun was down just so that I can fit them with the other shots. You don't want to have two different color schemes in a 1 video especially when you go back and forth between the videos. And keep in mind, I use manual settings, so everything remains constant which means the editing is pretty basic.

I didn't change any of that so it should be the standard option

Thanks. I've been meaning to try some of the other profiles but it's encouraging to see what can be done with the default.

That's some cool video. That boat looks spooky with all the birds handing out like that.  Nice footage of the 'bird boat' and the distant smoke stacks.

Fantastic video. I love the parts with the birds on the ships. Great colors and music in thew beginning is really creepy . Nice !

The lighting and music was perfect for the subject- GREAT job!!

Great video and those birds for those that are wondering are Cormorant's. The amount of cormorant poop on that boat is amazing
