The amount of video you can record will depend greatly upon the settings (4K vs. 2.7K, etc.) that you use, with the lower resolutions allowing you to record / store significantly more video.

To transfer the videos you have two options:
  • Physically remove the micro SD from the Mavic and use something like this to connect it to your computer.
  • With the Mavic powered on plug it directly into your computer using a USB cable (one is included with the Mavic), which gives your computer access to the SD card content.

Either way, once the SD card is accessible by your computer you can copy the photo and video files from it to your computer and / or delete them from the SD card to free up space. Also keep in mind that SD cards are pretty cheap; you can often get a 64GB (four times the size of the one that comes with the Mavic) one for under $20.

I can easily fill up my 16GB card with 2.7K/30fps video filming continuously through three batteries worth of flight, fwiw.

Of course, if you shoot the highest quality video the Mavic supports, you'll mostly fill up the supplied card with one battery's flight.
