Had a weird problem.Got the bird up about 150 feet with no problems.Started to bring it back down after hovering for a while got back down to about 5 feet or so battery was getting low.
Before the battery low sound came on the bird just started to go around in circles.It was windy about 20 miles an hour wind I was able to land it NO CRASH .Has anyone expericence this?
I did change the battery and had no more problems.I even let that battery go done but no problems.

20 miles on the gorund and maybe 30 miles up 150'??? probably more and low battery?? perfect storm...

Best not to fly a new bird in high winds, if things go wrong (as they do) and it goes into atti mode, unless your good at flying in full control, that bird will just be gone

Can anyone chime in on why it might have been flying in circles though?

It may have been trying to overcome the wind or the compass needs calibration

Thanks that is what I was thinking also might be the wind.

It sounds like compass interference, but to get a better idea you could post your logs so people can have a look and try to be more conclusive about what might have happened.  You can upload here http://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/ and post the link...
