Does anyone know, does an RF-V16 only work on 2G cellular service? I have a working GSM SIM but we no longer have 2G service available in my area. When I power up my GPS Tracker, the two LED's slowly blink and I can't contact it via text or voice, and the phone app says it's not online.
I guess I'm going to have to go ahead and get a Marco Polo unit.

The RF-V16 ONLY works on 2G services, so your choice is to find another cell provider who does 2G in your area (and there are some) or buy a 3G capable unit, such as the RF-V40.
