The gimbal clip is an important restraint during travel, so that the delicate gimbal won't bounce around on its own and get damaged. But it is easy to forget, and powering up the aircraft with the gimbal clipped in place is not good for it either. In aviation, delicate instruments are often muzzled or braced while the aircraft is in the hangar or on the tarmac. These muzzles, straps and braces are typically red with bold lettering to say REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT. You can buy these tags as keychains, but they are too heavy for this purpose. Anything similar will do, but this is my tag-out for my Mavic gimbal. I combined a little ribbon, a little eyelet, and a dollar-store woven charm clip for a cellphone. The charm clip attaches to the gimbal clip through a small hole drilled in the side.
