Filmed in 4K UHD (DJI log -1-3-2) then downscaled to 1080. Color grading done on Davinci Resolve and then imported to FCPX timeline and finalized in Compressor
Nice footage and flying! Personally I would have left the first part (until 0:35) out, very shaky and not so cinematic in my opinion. I wil check out your channel

Thanks! It was intended to show you how good the Mavic footage is when edited, that's why I put the first 35 seconds in there but hey... to each his own-thanks again
Amazing work. What's your gimbal settings please. Has anyone used the spectrumgrades LUT's for the Mavic? This film is the most cinematic Mavic footage I have seen which uses them... https://youtu.be/Y6fs9mGcih8

Sorry for the late response, if I remember correctly, all my camera settings were set to auto. As for gimbal settings i can't remember them off hand, but the flight above was done in tri pod mode with RTH set to hover.
Nice, but lots of blown out highlights.
And you should not set sharpening to -1 - this is the reason for the smudgy watercolor effect in your shots.
DJI is using in-camera denoiser that is messing up the image as soon as you turn sharpening to a minus values (its a bug)
Its better to soften the image in post - Best value is actually +1 for sharpening to get the best image result.

Yes, highlights are blown out, I had everything set to auto, it was only my second or third flight (at the time) with the Mavic..after researching info, I've switch to plus on on sharpening
