Live in Winnipeg - having a hard time finding places to fly that are interesting.

In Winnipeg is tough.
The airports (Rchardson, St. Andrews and Lyncrest) are very close and the airspace above Winnipeg is restricted.
Should be lots of places just outside of the city. You are good in most places to 300ft.
The Red River north and south of the city might be interesting. Missed the ice breakup.
The Winnipeg Speedway would be interesting. Maybe they want some free promo shots?

I've been flying at La Barriere Park and at Bird's Hill Park and I did get some video of the flooding, however, I'm looking for different kind of landscape. I was thinking of heading out to the Whiteshell but I'm just not sure if there is any restrictions there.

To my knowledge, there are no special restrictions. I certainly hope not. I am going to spend a lot of time in Otter Falls and Nutimik myself.

If you follow the Canada Rules and don't upset the wildlife, I can't see a problem.
There is no way to not upset a tourist so stay clear of them.
