I tried connect with my I pad air2 model A1567 on RC USB port but not working. After study my self then I found I should disconnect left side cable on RC so I disconnect that cable but still I can't connect my Ipad. My Ipad connected with RC left side cable is OK Also My Galaxy Note connected with RC on USD cable is OK after I disconnecrted left side RC cable. But left side cable on my Ipad is too short so I want to use USB port on RC with my Ipad. I thought maybe my USB cable might be bad so I tried connect with my PC, is fine that means USB cable also fine. Any idea what I can try?

You need to unplug the left side cable AND then plug the USB cable in the IPAD and in the USB plug in the RC and it should work.

I changed cable then it worked also after I disconnect left side cable as well.

Now I am happy, it's very clear video and bis screen I like it.

Just to make sure that I am on the same page, the drone is Mavic, right? What iOS system are you running on your iPad? What is the APP version?
