I'm looking to purchase a 12v battery charger for my P4 and see there's a huge difference in cost from DJI store and eBay.

DJI Store around $109

eBay

Anyone have experience here they'd like to share.

Thanks in advance

Hi, please be aware that this is a regional subforum and not a tech discussion thread - this belongs to the PHANTOM forum. To your question, there is a lot of aftermarket chargers which are cheaper. I am also using a $30 car charger for my P4 and it works just fine!

I would just use the P4 charger and get a 12v inverter to plug it in. That way, you are using an approved DJI charger and the inverter shouldn't cost you more than $30

Sure, that'll work. However, when I travel I have 4 batteries with me, and I'll typically use all 4 between my 2 Phantoms. I bought one similar to the black one linked above, and having a second battery charge connection is very handy. But:
you need to ensure that the rating is adequate to change for each arm (2);
for that reason, I wouldn't try to charge two batteries AND the controller; and
the car should be running when you do this (which isn't an issue if you're travelling).
