49... turn 50 in April.  Mavic will be my half Century BD present to myself.  Mavic will be my 1st drone.... avid photographer/videographer.  Lots of reading....lots of reviews....lots of youtube...  have settled on the Mavic and am excited to  get it!

Thrilled to be able to enter the hobby with such an amazing set up.  The learning curve from what I have learned is pretty flat.  The engineering and features are amazing. The portability is a huge draw.  The 4k speaks for itself.  The ability to be creative and capture footage from above some of the amazing places I hike with my kids will be soothing to my soul.   All in all I am chomping at the bit to get at it.

I'm 54 going on 55, my only worry is if I die my wife will sell my toys for the prices I told her I paid for them. Lol

31 and out of San Diego CA. Started with the lower end drones from Amazon and just got my Mav a few weeks back. Coolest toy I've gotten in over a decade!!

Thinking of quitting my day job to be some sort of aerial photo/videographer!

I am not a mavic owner so don't want to vote... but I wish I could see results without voting. Looks like results are visible only after voting.

Not all at once however.

Love it.

I'm 71 and this is my first remote controlled anything since my garage door opener in 1970. I though it was really cool and this seems like it may be better.

This could have been my post! I am also turning half a century in mid-April and I also bought the Mavic for myself. In the past, for my birthday presents from me to myself included  3 Harley's, a Car and so much more.

I also am a video/pic fan. Been making videos since big hunking VHS cameras with a portable power plant it seem like!

Anyway, glad we share the same birthday month and so much more. Happy Birthday in advance!!

will be 70 next month.. have Inspire 1 version 1 since January of 2014--- 1675 flights on it (thanks to prop locks)---Mavic Pro since December 235 flights.... Inspire 2 with X4S cam for the last 45 days.. 58 flights...divorced the wife last year kept the birds, happy with the trade.. they don't bitch as much and her two "sewing rooms" are now "hangers" .. BTW no crashes (fingers crossed after about 4900 miles)--waiting for crystal sky and goggles. Seems I have flown and shown the entire community as well as others within driving distance.. running out of places to fly.. now relegated to flying the land fill!! (smile) Most fun of all is lecturing on the hobby for the elementary and high school students as they all think I am the coolest grandpa in town!

49 myself and the Mavic is my first. I'm SOOO glad that I bought the Mavic instead of something else. It's so easy to fly without all the worries.

46 and although only been flying these for 3 years, Mavic will be my 9th quadcopter. Got 4 racing quads, P3, F450 etc.

57 first time flyer.

56  Have owned several quads over the years.  Now just the Mav and an Inspire.

36 started flying in november i own 5 Drones and 3 goggles..
Has anyone tried the moverio bt-300 they are amazing, but they only work with DJI drones

With the price range of mavic you are looking at an old(-er)  audience...

64  and hoping to buy my first REAL drone in the next few weeks.  Wife bought me a toy one a year ago, but it's extremely difficult to fly under control.   Spent the last few days here reading tons of great info,  and watching MANY videos.

I have two toy drones syma 3 real ones, great fun but really hard to control, if you have a reasonable control of those Mavic will be a piece of cake, enjoy..

Hmmmmm.....not a lot of under 20's are owners......probably the cost. I know I didn't have a couple grand spar at 20. To busy chasing other things in life.
