Hello all,
I wonder how to open the flight log files (DJI_ASSISTANT_EXPORT_FILExxx.dat) I exportet with the DJI Assistant 2 software from my Mavic Pro and what to do with it. Is it possible to use it as an Google maps/Google earth  overlay like you can use GPS coordinates of photgraphs (KMZ or GPX-files) ?  Which program (Mac OS or Windows) is needed?
BTW: the exported file's size is more that 2,5 GB and I'm a beginner who steered his Mavic pro not longer than 2,5 hours in summary. Where are those log files saved (internal memory of the Mavic Pro) and how to clear this memory or is no need to do it?
I wasn't able to find any answers to those question in the forum.

I'm new and want to learn more about analyzing flight logs too.   I've found these instructions for viewing the logs but haven't found any guide to what the data means yet:

Just spent an hour with DJI chat for more info on reading the graphs but didn't get any instructions.

Hello Stephan, you can check the flight data via DJI Assistant.  Please refer to the screenshot.
And the flight data are saved in the internal SD card. Once the SD card is full, the previous flight data will be overwritten.

It appears that camera controls are not logged - is this true?

I'd love to know what my camera settings were for any portion of a flight.

I've tried opening the log files with the flight data viewer and get nothing. I figure I must be doing something wrong.

Wonderful tool for analyzing - Truly worth looking at and free ;) they have upgrades for some things but it has everything you need for your flight logs
