Hello,
is there any way to get an Notification when a new Firmware is released for one of my devices (no regular newsletter)? Especially for my Mavic.
Every time i go out there seems to be an FW Upgrade.

Today http://www.dji.com/de/mavic/info shows the 2017-02-16 Release Notes which lists the v01.03.0400 as newest.

It can be the pits, just when your ready to fly, up comes firmware upgrade, for now we just have to get used to it and try to remember it before we go out flying. It would be good to get a notification and makes a lot of sense. Good luck...

I heard that if you follow either Facebook or twitter posts by DJI they announce updates on them.

DJI will normally post Release Notes on the Mavic downloads page for each release:
Release Notes for March 2, 2017 firmware release

Yeah, but until today i didn't know that the germany and english version of the download page can be different. Even now, on the German Page the current update isnt listed.

I used to get emails from DJI notifying me of updates when I had my Phantom P3 Pro... Never had anything since owning Mavic.

Yea, pretty much if I power up everything & get no WARNING to update (or else), I'm shocked!  I expect an issue EVERY time I use my Mavic, which is why it is in 1-piece still hahaha.

Yeah although many are quick to blame new firmware for there woes, I believe in keeping up to date, I'm sure dji engineers are working to improve these AC .

Yep, real pilots use I'M SAFE as a checklist.  If you pass all of those, you're good to fly.  This is how you assess risk.

Have added check firmware to my pre-preflight checklist. Usually top my batteries off before flying, so a good time to check. While it's frustrating to get the firmware update message, I'd rather they implement fixes quickly so I can keep my Mavic in one piece. Sure timeframes will stabilize as things shack out. Hazard of being an early adopter

If you don't want to update FW (for some urgent reasons of flying without a delay) :-), you can still skip it and update later.
