The PGY and Nanuk are great cases. I have 3 different hard cases for mine, all slightly different sizes with different configurations inside but I really wish someone would make a case with an insert that holds the Mavic, Controller, iPad Mini (or similar). a holder like the MavMount (or similar) and just a load of batteries. When I go out with it and I am sure pretty much every one on here, I do not need to have the charger, car charger, charging hub, USB battery adapter with me, well at least not on 9/10 occasions. I just need the Mavic, a few bits and bobs and batteries. I think it was different in the past as the drones/cases were large anyway but now with the Mavic the companies need to sit down and think about the practicality of dragging all other bits around in a nice compact case when the case could be a little smaller and filed with batteries :-)
Might be different for others as I have 8 batteries and if out for the day chances are you will not be or want to be near a mains outlet to charge your batteries for an hour or so anyway. If someone does come out with a solution looks like I might have to buy case #4 lol
I have started to look at getting some just custom insets made to fit then need. Not cheap in the UK though :-( |
