I ordered my P3S December 2016, it was to take about 10 days to go from the Eastern Australia to Western Australia, downloaded the manual & read it about 4 or 5 times while waiting for my delivery, watched countless You Tube videos & DJI videos. When  my P3S arrived spent about 4 nights on simulator & still was very nervous with my first flight, my investment was  $859.00 so I didn't want anything to go wrong. I read on the forum some time ago about the tests after take off like one of the posters wrote above & do this every time on my first flight & after changing the battery, it only takes seconds to make sure you have control.

Ahhhh...  Great fun for sure... seemed like yesterday.....   ha, it's was!  new myself here. Things will come up with your P3S, they did with me. Just stay in the limits your comfortable with. In no time you'll be watching the SunSet from above. lol....  now thats cool!
