I doubt it. Ferrous (iron-based) alloys tend to be heavy and affect compass readings, so there isn't a lot of (magnetic) metal in the Mavic for your magnet to attract. However, if you have Care Refresh or believe the crash occurred because of a warranty issue you might actually be financially better off paying someone to retrieve it even if they have to dive for it since it's probably worth $700+ dollars to you to get it back. Of course, that's only assuming it can be safely retrieved, because it's certainly not worth risking anyone's life over. |
