When I tap Go Fly to enter DJI Go 4 I see a message in the Overall Status field at the top of the status pop-up menu  that says "Update Required."  When I tap the button  the pop-up closes but the banner at the top of the app momentarily says "Firm Update Required" or something like that, in a red field. If I attach my P4P to DJI Assistant 2 it tells me that my firmware is current. I have refreshed the firmware twice but still get the message. It doesn't stop me from flying but it would be nice to know what's going on, so when I really do need an update I will konw it.

Maybe you need to check your remote's firmware version.

Like Helloworld mentioned, it could be referring to the RC firmware, have you checked that as well?

i noticed this on another post and followed a certain startup order and it worked perfectly...start Rc then AC then app and it went away..
