Is the iPad Mini 2 good enough for flawless  lag Free Video Feed of the mavic?
Even in 1080p Video Transmission?

Is there any Major difference compared to ab iPad Mini 4?
In Terms of Image quality and also Screen brightness in sunlight.

iPad Mini2 should be fine, but a Mini4 is much much better.

I have two iPad mini 2's. One for the Mavic and one for the P3S. I have never had any video lag on either one at any distance I have gone. 3350 feet with the P3S, and over a mile with the Mavic.

I will only use ist for my drone, nothing else.

I they have similar Levels of brightness measurement and if the Video Feed ist lag Free, then what makes it "way" better than the Mini 2??

It's a little thinner and lighter if that floats your boat but if you are going to do any editing the A8 processor in the mini4 makes rendering/editing video much faster.

If you just wanted it for the screen size then the mini2 will be perfect.

It's the processor that makes the GO app run better. Here's a paragraph from a quick Google search.

Processor and Graphics: The iPad Mini 2 uses one of Apple's dual-core 1.3GHz A7 chips, whereas the iPad Mini 4 uses the newer dual-core 1.5GHz A8 chip – the same chip inside the iPhone 6, not the A8X inside the iPad Air 2. Okay but if it's Not for editing then there is Not much difference between the two tabs when it comes to Video live Feed 720p/1080p


Btw, can i ask what editing App u use in your Tablet or mobile Device?

I plan to get the mini 4 because of the better screen, It has the fully laminated screen with the anti-glare coating.  I don't know how much better it is outside but I will take any advantage I can get. I know when I upgraded to an I-Pad Air 2 with Phantom 4 it was a pretty noticeable change form the older I-Pad I was using.

A 10$ Anti glare Anti reflection Screen protector will do the Same.

Seems to be conflicting info on Wifi vs Cellular. Is anyone using a mini 4 and hot spotting it to their phone? ANY downside to that?

Cant speak to the mini4..but on my mini2, when I used wifi hotspot to my phone in conjunction with a screen recorder while flying? I had MAJOR lag.

When I switched to using bluetooth for hotspot connection....zero lag issues at all

in my experience, these anti glare covers help a bit with glare, but also negatively impact screen quality. Gives everything a slightly fuzzy look.tradeoff that my (or may not) be worth it for some
