Hello everyone!
I finally got my Mavic Pro last weekend and - after a couple of test flights - I noticed that the "landing gear" and the plastic covers on the bottom of the rear rotors (see sample picture) are already scratched. Now, because it's only getting worse from this point on (I guess) I was wondering: are those parts (easily) exchangeable and, if yes, how do I do it without breaking anything? And where can I get spare parts?
Thanks for your help!
Daniel

I get that there are aftermarket protectors. I do, though, wish DJI would make items such as these that are essentially sacrificial available.

I had one of those rear skids fall off while I was unpacking my Mavic after it arrived. I only noticed it because the cat was batting it around on a dark carpet and I took it away from him then had to figure out what it was and where it had come from. Now I'm worried that they'll drop off during flight.

Yeah I saw those aftermarket protectors, but those kind of destroy the looks of the drone if you ask me. I mean given that the landing gear of my Mavic already has scratches after one day of use I'm certainly gonna spend the two bucks on those protectors but as you said, it would be nice to have spare parts from DJI directly!

Get a landing pad. If your landing on ground that scratches the gear then your probably kicking up dust and debris that works its way into the motor nacelles and fan area in which case gear scratch is gonna be a secondary issue sooner or later. Thats whut i thinkin anyway.

I realize that this is not what you're looking for, but I ordered  this from Amazon.com

https://www.amazon.com/gp/produc ... 0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They raise my Mavic up as well as protect the Mavic landing pads and they match the color and style of my Mavic.  The only down side is I do have to remove them to store my bird in my case, but it's about 3 seconds to install and remove them.

Extra protection and the extra height make it worth it to me.

Good Luck!
