If anyone is using the airmap application, I have a question that maybe you can answer for me. I live near a class C jetport. I have a subject I want to photograph with my drone   When I open the application it shows a circle on the map in pink representing the 5 mile radius around the airport. My subject is just outside of that pink circle. However, when I hover over my subject, it still pops up  an advisory.  I am getting mixed signals from the application… I don't know whether I can fly there or not. How can I find out for sure? Thanks for the help.

If you're just outside the pink circle, then you're good to go.  

Down load the Airmap application at airmap.com. You can get fast real time authorizations for restricted air spaces.
