After it being to windy or to cold to fly for the last two weeks, I finally had a good warm day to fly. I did do all my pre-checks before taking off. That's where the being smart ended and being stupid started. I took off and never went to my usual cruising height. Since I couldn't see the Mavic, I kept looking for it, instead of looking at my iPad. Glad the Mavic is smarter than I am.  Below is what the Mavic captured.

Couldn't say if it went up by it's self. It all happened so fast, and as soon as I felt the RC vibrate I went throttle up. I'm also lucky there was nothing above me to crash into, I've heard of that happening.
