Hey guys! I just got my Mavic Pro a few weeks ago and am loving it! I upgraded from a Phantom 2/GoPro setup to the Mavic Pro and am super impressed with the Mavic. I filmed this video on a trip to California and would love to hear your feedback:

Very Beautiful video and the song is very fitting to the tune of the video. Love the lighting on the beach very crisp and clean! Excellent video I enjoyed watching it!

It was just breathtaking.  Sailboat against the sun, wow.  All the lighting was really nice.

And I don't know f you planned this, but the shot that starts at 0:37 where you match your speed to the speed of the wave is freaking awesome.  The top of the wave reflects the same image all the way along the path.  Loved it.

This is awesome.  I'm very new to flying (Mavic Pro) and trying to figure out how so many of ya'll take such crystal clear photos.  I have the camera set to manual, but haven't been able to find the settings to get a crystal clear photos.   As you'll see in the below, slightly white fade to the top.  Any guidance would be tremendously appreciated!

Beautiful. How many shootings did you use to compose this 2.30" clip ? And what camera settings ? Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up.

Hi there, when flying at sunset make sure you use the manual exposure settings and adjust this accordingly. I.e. Shutterspeed, iso etc

In addition to that ensure that you tap on the screen to focus and make sure everything is on focus also do  use of the focus peak threshold as it is very useful

hope this helps

I come on here for Information and Inspiration, and the video above certainly embodies the latter.
Some lovely shots . The sailboat in the sunset is captured superbly. You are so lucky to have that
beautiful evening light, that we in the UK sorely lack for most of the year.
Keep shooting and posting.

I had to get used to the auto-focus with the Mavic (I am coming from a GoPro). I ran into some trouble with some out of focus shots resulting from the auto-focusing not adjusting (tap your phone screen to reset the auto-focus). I'm not sure if this is affecting you at all, but it did cause some issues for me.

As far as settings go, most of this was shot on auto settings. I did set the shutter/exposure for a few of the rolling sunset shots. I'm very impressed with the auto shutter/exposure/white balance, etc. on the Mavic.

This is cut from three nights of sunsets. Two of the nights I filmed about 25 minutes each, and one of the nights I filmed for about 15 minutes.
