Hello,

I have received my 1345LS propeller mounting hardware. I noticed the small black screws already have a small application of blue Loctite,

Should I be applying more Loctite to the screw threads before installation?
I want to make sure that I get this right before I start the application.

Also, I'm noticing small foam pads in each pack. What are they for there appears to be no reference.

Thanks for your help.

I am just about to replace my mounts and will be using loctite 243 blue on the threads ,the foam pieces fit in to the prop where the mount goes to take up any slack

I would , just add tiny drop more , can't hurt anything .  Just use sparingly as a little goes a long way .
The foam blocks go inside the props , I would do some test fitting though first , some are saying that only the red ones need it , some are saying dont need it at all just use a shim of electrical tape .

Go the the near top of the thread for some good debate on which to use , it is under the 1345 ls mount plate thread .

I personally custom cut my foam inserts to make each one fit perfectly .  If it gets to tight it could crack that  pressire ring .  I personally find this a terrible idea from DJI, My other prop system worked just great without having to shim etc.  I thin this  was a matter of them getting shipped some bad props  from a vendor and did not check the specs, then after some complaints had to come up with something .

I just installed mine. I also noticed that the red props have some slight play! So I inserted the foam into those the white props seem seems fine.  Idled for around 5 minutes no noise

I have and they seem to work fine , I had to fine tune the amount of foam in the props to get the "slop ' out of there.  So far so good .
