We have been getting reports from dealers and users that they cannot get video out with the Android App v1.0.7.  I was able to confirm this while here at our offices in LA.  No video on my Galaxy S4 and then connected an iPad mini to the same Tx and video was there.  I would advise that you not upgrade at this time.  This has been reported to the Inspire Team and we hope to hear from them by tomorrow morning.

Be nice if DJI would put the app version on the down load page via its number instead of just the date ...
Ed can you see if they'd add that info to the pilot app versions down load page info for us to make reference to when this happens again .

Some earlier than others. I am already on conference calls with guys working in Shenzhen this morning, lol.

. I totally get working with Asia and testing code but please have them revert ASAP as I am sure there is some people out there that have commitments that they need functional birds at and if its like anything Ive experienced dealing with Asia for 13 years it will take them a day or two to change gears and start debugging and identifying the issues.

We are seeing strange inconsistencies. Some controllers are working with nVidia Shield and some are not. Regardless of firmware. We reported it to DJI LA Support today.

Tab S 8.4 Works with caveat of history challenges I mentioned yesterday on RCGroups.  I first installed as upgrade then deleted, turned-off device, restarted and fresh download/install works (still with history issue).

Posted yesterday:
Today I am experiencing issues with the latest version of app for both android and iPad.

iPad Air 2 - I have not had any lockups or challenges until the 1.0.2 version, now the iPad is resetting and/or app crashes.  I have removed and reinstalled but not tested with Inspire connected.  The logs are populating properly.

Samsung Tab S 8.4 - Previously no lockup or challenges until the 1.0.7 release.  The app has crashed a couple times and I am unable to get detailed flight logs, only the top section is populating (yes I hit refresh at top).  I removed and reinstalled, have not tested with Inspire, however details portion of log is still not populating (top is proper).

Moto X 2nd Version - I have not had any crashes on this one with any release of app.  I am unable to get my detailed logs and the top section has all values doubled (flight time, distance, etc).  I have removed and reinstalled, however still same thing at top after hitting refresh (bottom section is showing flights properly).

Any thoughts on how to get the same flight logs/data across even the two android platforms (neither on lollipop)?

That's reassuring to know.  I updated the app last night for my Nvidia Shield with the intention to carry out my weekly checks on my Inspire shortly.  Yet to fly as the weather in my neck of the woods in the NE of England has been poor of late.

Done my checks, although not flown yet, and I too have no problems (yet) with the Android update to the Pilot App on the Nvidia Shield tablet (which itself is up-to-date with its OS).

Tahoe Ed, while this may be off topic, can someone from DJI put a concise set of instructions on the firmware update? It seems there are so many differing ideas on how to do it that it aint so simple anymore. a step by step process for all us hillbillies would be great. Let's just say that some of us ( me ) don't work for NASA. or Microsoft for that matter. I still use sticks with glue and rubber bands so this is confusing my little frontal lobe.

1-Inspire 1 , turn on without Gimbal (installed)
Android app 1.07 Error message REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY ERROR
Turn off  the aircraft ad Radio, replace the android device by iphone with App.1.02
Turn on , Aircraft and Radio,,,NO ERROR MESSAGE.

2-Inspire 1 turn ON with gimbal (installed)
ANDROID and IPHONE, works fine, without any  ERROR.
if this is true.
A-The android app need to be revised.
B-The android app has wrong error message

I updated, and my perception of the problem is that the video feed for the slave remote doesn't work (on either iOS or android). The master controller works fine and video is good, but the slave controller tables just indicates "disconnected" with either android 1.0.7 or ios 1.0.2.  The slave controller sticks work to manipulate the camera (as seen from master controller video feed, but no video feed on the slave.... Frustrating.

I have not had any problems with this update until today. I tried to use my slave remote and had interment screen problems. On the slave unit only. Master controller worked well except a red no signal message on the top of the screen. All master tx controls functioned normally. I used the dual controller system last week with no troubles. The software is now preventing the slave controller from working.

Out of curiosity, is it known which android os version is affected by this problem? I'm asking this because android 5.0 caused a bunch of problems for sw developers. Is there anyone on android 4.4 or 4.3 experiencing issues?

I have requested that LA test.  I can do it on the version that I am testing but I am not sure that it will be meaningful other that to say whether it has been fixed or not.

I'm using the Samsung tab s 8.4..... the in app video replay(1080P@30fps) was not working at all, left half of the screen will show some images, but right half will display messy streaks. Also, the replay will freeze the app.

I am using two controllers with both using 64GB Nvidia Shields running Anroid 5.0.1  Updated the App to 1.0.7. Latest Firmware update 1.2.0.17..Everything seems good and talking to each other . All apears as it should. Powers up nicely but waiting for warmer weather to fly.

Try removing the App and then do a clean install of v1.0.7.  It worked on my Galaxy S4.
