Hey my friend, slow down...without the visual aid of a smart device I would suggest not to use the phantom till you get one and download the app. Without it, you don't have any visual status GPS, signal strength etc. I am going to assume you could not do any calibrations etc. Please stop!, and get the proper devices or you may be heading for a disaster. Just trying to help you save your investment.

You need to register the aircraft before you can fly it. For that, you will need the app and be connected to the aircraft.

If you can not afford a smart phone, borrow one.  You can also use a tablet.  Both a phone and a tablet will need to download the GO APP (iOS or Android depending on the system your phone or tablet uses) then establish an account with DJI and register.  You can then fly the Phantom.

All good advise.  I use the cheapest phone from Walmart, no cell service needed.  It's an LGL15G, I think I paid around $20 for it.  Other than the screen isn't as bright as others out there, it works fairly well.
I have disabled as many apps, force stopped them if I cannot disable.  Something like this would get you into the air to start.  I have since bought a 10 inch tablet, but found it's pretty heavy so I am still using the little LG.

Like others have previously mentioned, you need to activate the aircraft first before you can fly without the app. Your phone might be able to work well enough to do that and perhaps it could get the job done in general, but we would need to know what mobile device you have in order to make that determination.

But like what was also mentioned, it's not really recommended to fly without the use of the Go app for FPV. Since the P3 Standard does not have shutter or record buttons on the RC, you're missing out on a lot of features for the camera without the app.

Looks like your bird is,nt activated yet then you can´t start the motors. First you may activate the bird first and then you can let the bird take off.
