I would like to no best way to connect a monitor to the phantom 4 pro +, I have a Ipad pro that i would like to use but if all fails I will use a hdmi cable and a laptop.

The other question, is it normal for the hdmi module to get very warm?

How long would it be active before it gets warm? It's normal to be a little bit warm over time due to the extra power output needed, but it should not be hot to the touch.

The highest temp i got was 139 degrees F, picture taken with thermal camera.

Make sure you can hear the cooling fan kicking in after the rc has been on for a while , I had to send my Plus
RC back for replacement as the cooling fan was not working , the extra heat caused the GO app (plus screen) to crash
a lot , and very bad screen glitching , the new replacement works 100% better , good video feed and no crashing of the app.
