Got to play around with active track and following a motorcycle around my relative's property. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy how hard the Mavic works to stick with a subject at a short distance. Video below.

That's awesome!  One of the big reasons I bought my mavic was for active track and quading... Hopefully mine works for me as good as yours worked here... Soon as the weather gets better I will be testing it out on the quad!

I think its 16 feet high and 16 feet away minimum

I think to get it started you have to be that far away but once I had it running I was able to get pretty close. Also depends on what mode you are on. With Spotlight I noticed I could go in closer for a behind the shoulder shot or right in front.

Hi POTUS,

I only used active track once --- the RC recommended these measurements
while I was in active track it seemed to stay that distance wide turning and going higher
I never used it again I just didn't trust it
your probably right that it is the minimum height and distance to start
I was in a tight area trying it
