Please DJI, you are working on the wrong things!   by all means have an editor app,  BUT please, please, please keep it as a seperate App,   please focus or prioritise your attention on putting right the hand full of flight related issues,  surely you realise you are on the brink of making these craft truly exceptional, However first they must be reliable and work of course.  even i can see a larger and larger number of poeple going back to home building,  i for one have to build a reliable craft for my work,   i would truly love to buy a fully working Inspire 2 or M200, but knowing its going to be flying with a Tablet app that i have little control over for App and FW updates, which doesnt work reliably enough,  has forced me away,   Please DJI see this and the many others who are having to do this because your software and firmware just doesnt make the grade,  this is truly construction critism, and not a bash at you.

I totally agree, one app for flight control, separate app for editing. Something is seriously wrong if out of 79 reviews, 50 are 1 star?????

I gave up!  The last time I tried to update DJI GO it informed me that my iPad would not work with it, though I had been flying with it on the previous version.  I then switched to Litchi and never looked back.  Maybe someday DJI will get the message and make sure their releases  are fully 100% bugproof before releasing and gain back some confidence!

I'd still like to see a digital compass reading in the app.

i would like it just to work !     i currently have an Android phone and tablet,  both are not great!  and very frustrating as some things that work yesterday dont always work today? its certainly not repeatedly reliable.  so i am biting the bullet and buying an Ipad mini 4 cellular so i can dedicate it to the mavic,   just so that i can try each option before i throw in the towel.

It'd make my day if you'd fixed the RTMP server login issue as well -- right now it queries just for the stream address but not the stream key and so it doesn't work :-/

Is it not available on the App Store yet?

Every time I see these updates, I laugh. I also lament for the original "DJI Pilot" app that I used with my Inspire 1 back in February 2015. It worked. Sure there are some "enhancements" that are useful, but for the most part it has become a bloated nightmare. Someday, the authorities are going to ground all DJI aircraft due to the pervasive unreliability and resulting safety issues.

My iphone downloaded the new app but it now won't stay on the main screen.  It automatically hides itself when it comes up and no mater what I do it will not stay up.

Any suggestions?

App opens then closes on both my iPad Mini 2 & iPhone 6 both running iOS 10.3.

The latest update for dji go osmo causes the application to crash that no longer wants to open. I'm on iphone 6S more. You can fix it as quickly as possible.

in my iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Pro, the new release DJI 3.1.7 installed today 2017/04/05, opens and close automatically. A big bug.

The new app 3.1.7 open and close automatically in all my devices. iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Pro. It is a big bug

Finally after a while i updated my Inspire to the latest FW and then,  WTF DJI GO opens and closes. Very disapointed

I have attached crash reports for both iPhone 7 and iPad mini boith with latest IOS.

Crashes whilst app starts up trying to connect to M100

DJI Go 3.1.7 on iOS 10.3.1 (14E304), iPhone 7 plus. App quits on launch. It manages to requests access to microphone camera and notifications, then quits and never launches again at all. On occasion it runs as far as the start screen where you would select what to connect to.
Removal and reinstall does not resolve issue. App does not show up in the System Seettings/Privacy as wanting to use either the camera or the microphone. In the App's own preferences it shows as having access to Photos.

Both crash on app launch. Tried to delete and reinstall.

Problem solved, I prohibition in the phone to DJIGO mobile  data, connect to the osmo via wifi and applications work.Nice day.

Seeing all these comments on the new update it makes me wonder if DJI even test their FW updates...

Same here on Iphone 6+ with 3.1.7 app not able to open without crashing. This is BAD!! Have commercial job scheduled to shoot this afternoon with Inspire and Osmo... Neither of which will work now!!!  

UPDATED... BUT NOW IT ONLY CRASHES  (iphone 6+ last ios)

Problem solved, disable mobile  data for the app in the iphone control panel, connect to the osmo via wifi and applications work.  Nice day.

The app does not work since the last update. Iphone 5s and ipad mini 2. Why does DJI insist on putting absurd things in an app for a professional dron? Focus on a good app on flight control and camera management please, please, please. Have a test of the app before uploading it to the internet. The "beta" versions for which you want to try them

Set to airplane mode and the app starts ok. then switch off airplane mode and app still works.
