What are your thoughts on the Lens Hood/Shade? Do you have one? Plan on getting one? Pros and cons? Im thinking of getting on since its only $10.

Pro: It does reduce glare in some situations.
Con: As mentioned in the Amazon reviews it can show up in your video in certain cases.

I use one, the exact one you are showing -- it does reduce Glare But when id Sports Mode full speed Forward
you can see it interferes at the top of the Video or Pic some say the sides also when abruptly Yawing or turning Left and Right <------ I never experienced this  

I have one also and it seems to help with glare.  Although I haven't tried it at sport speed, I did run the gimbal through it's range while stationary and saw no edges in the image.

BTW, if you can see some edges in the image, it's easy to shave a bit off the shade with an knife.  It's fairly  soft plastic.
