The front vision sensors of my Mavic reports an error after hitting breaches and crashing 3m into shrubs. Everything else seems to be working fine, although I did spray some electronics contact cleaner into the internals, as the shrubs were wet from rain, and I could see some water around the intake and gimbal.
Is this something that I can fix myself, or is it a return for fix?

I'd let it first dry up by itself, make sure that the surface of the sensors isn't damaged or dirty and only if this doesn't work - start the return process. Returns are not the fastest in the world so better to troubleshoot yourself first.

Yeah, done all that overnight. It actually flew fine immediately after, although it was just a quick flight to check that it was still alive (and it was getting dark).
Today tested it out with a long flight, about 1km out, and it worked fine, except hovering wasn't as good (drifts somewhat) as I need to replace 2 props.
I guess I might take it to the local repair centre next week; I'm lucky that I have an authorised DJI repair centre close by.

Sorry to hear about your crash.
I think a repair service would be the best course of action.
I'd suggest you to send it in for further diagnosis and repair.

Yeah, have sent my Mavic to hospital. Will know early next week what the prognosis is, and whether it will have to go to Melbourne.

Does opening the case to push on the connector void the warranty?

I'd say so, but so does a crash.

Does opening the case to push on the connector void the warranty?

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. We don't recommend our customers fixing their drones due to that the warranty may be voided. We recommend sending the drone to our repair team and let them do the job to fix the drone. You may check our after-sales policy using the link below and the product price range for our repair. Thank you for understanding.
