Hi,
last saturday i was flying my mavic and started a RTH; mavic was about 60 m high, and RTH altitude is set to 30 m.

When I looked to the screen mavic was at 150 m; I stopped the RTH and manualy took the mavic home

Can someone please explain what may have happened?

Could you please export the flight data via DJI Assistant and upload it to dropbox then send me the link?

Copy the file in in Dji Assistent an put the copy in a map on Dropbox. Then link your Dropboxfile in this forum.

Connect your aircraft to the computer and run the DJI Assistant.
Click the "Data Upload" then save the flight data to local and upload it to dropbox.
Here is the screenshot for your reference.

Done.
Pls, let me know if there's anything more I can do

BTW: the data upload app verifies if the phone number is a valid USA number, no way to enter a phone number from outside USA

Was the sun low in the sky when this happened?   The OA sensors can get fooled by the sun and the Mavic may have been trying to fly over the perceived obstacle.

I thought that could be, but I was expecting to see a warning on the record and I did not find any

Hello, the data file seems too small. I'm not sure if the data is correct.

Yes, there should be warning if the OA sensors detect an obstacle but now that you mention it, I am not sure it gets reported to the cell phone during  RTH.  It will however be the in the flight data that Mindy has so we should see from that.

I agree with Wolfgang.  Was your return direction into the sun?  

That was my first though, and yes: it was facing the sun. i discarded it when I replied the flight on my ipad without any obstacle message... let's see what Mindy answers.
