I have crashed my drone Smoke escaped from it! ( around the gimbal area ) I live in South East Queensland. I noticed there is one location listed on DJI website for repairs and it is in Vic.

Is there anywhere else that repair Phantom 3 Pro drones?

It is not under warranty.

Sounds like you might have the same problem as me, which was diagnosed by the local repair centre as a burnt out gimbal ribbon cable due to not taking out the gimbal holder. Apparently no spare ribbon cables except the Melbourne repair centre.

Did it take long for it to be repaired?

Was just sent in on Monday, but was told up to 4 weeks.

Was hoping to have it ANZAC day long weekend.

You need to contact support and have a case opened. They will give you the address details and a link to download a form which needs to be sent in with your drone.
