With a DJI Drone attached to a computer via USB cable the present DJI Assistant 2 program can access the Drone's internal DAT files.  The data can be viewed in graphical form and the DAT files can be saved to another location.  My request is to add a command to the opening screen of DJI Assistant 2 that would open the data viewer WITHOUT having to connect a Drone.  The user could then open previously saved DAT files.
The other option would be to update the stand alone DAT file viewer for the iOSD II to work with the newer DAT format.
