To ensure that your aircraft continues to offer optimal performance and to ensure flight safety, it is recommended that comprehensive  inspection and maintenance be performed after every 200 flights or 50 flight hours according to DJI INSPIRE 1 Maintenance Manual.

For those experienced users, please also read the manual carefully and check your aircraft frequently.

This manual is intend to help users maintain your aircraft and maximize its continued reliability. If your aircrafts are in good condition,you could maintain your Inspire1 according to the manual by yourselves.

Where are the blue prints so it will be more easy for us to follow your maintenance manual.

Example : How to service the antennas if we dont know where they are build into the Inspire1
               Do you advice to dismantle the craft to find that out ?

Any maintenance manuals for the rest of the craft? S1000 etc?

Not sure why this is posted in the Phantom 2 forum.  Is there something we'd find of interest?

Can you post a link for the prints or exploded diagrams of the Inspire 1. As an avid RC-aholic (Air, Sea and Land) these diagrams are typically the best support to an experienced user for, service, continued preventive maintenance, and safety inspections. I along with many others would greatly appreciate it.

Likely due to the fact that the inspire users have encountered so many problems with the initial release that DJI tried to direct them to the Phantom Forum to see how UnInspired we Phantom users are

on inspire 1 that is!!

Hope someone from DJI can help me out with this question.
Why some of the motors of Inspire 1 have 4 threaded holes instead of 2 on the bell? Mine has 4, but now newer models have only two. What was the reason behind this production change ?

Hey big guy, Probably so, I made a Post on that section to see if anyone had one in hand and if the camera had that capability of accepting a Filter.I had a Vision + and you could not use a filter. I have a Phantom 2 that has a Filter adapter, standard 43mm filter and the Filter makes all the difference in the world. I got rid of the V+ because of that pitfall.

I don't think that is an option that they even consider! Too bad, it would really help with the end result and not have to spend a ton of time in Post!

Couldn't agree more. If nothing is user serviceable, how can it be maintained? What life/hour do we assign to components like motors, ESCs, plastic props. What figures are folks who are using this machine commercially coming up with to satisfy people in CASA (for those Australians amongst us Inspire owners) to incorporate in their Maintenance Manuals? Or do we have to "contact DJI support" all the time?
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a brilliant bit of kit, but a maintenance manual should describe in detail how to maintain, rather than simply tell you to have a good look and listen, and spray a bit of WD40 around... Oh, and contact DJI Support to arrange repairs...

We were talking about the manual and I forgot to mention this. I am willing to bet that the rumor about an Inspire 2 was actually the Phantom 3? I would think that the Inspire would have to be perfect before DJI went for an Inspire 2. It would be suicide business wise.

Subject: Inspire 1 Quick-Release Propellers Notice

Dear DJI Inspire 1 Customer,

The screws that come with the new 1345S Quick-Release Propellers for your Inspire 1 have been pre-coated with one-time use thread locker.

If you replace the mounting plates and securing springs, or if you remove the screws for any reason, note that that the one-time use thread locker will be used up. Please use any remaining unused pre-coated screws or use your own liquid thread locker to secure the screws in place when re-assembling the mounting plates.

We highly recommend that you only use liquid thread locker that is removable.

Note: Do not put any thread locker on the mounting plates to prevent corrosion and damage.

I followed the entire thread, and didn't see an exploded diagram, or anything along the lines of what's inside this bird....
Will anything ever be provided by the manufacture?

3 months since "On its way". So any news as to when it will be here?

Whats the price for such an inspection every 50 flight hours at DJI? Does that mean new motor bearings for example?

Where can I find the Blue Prints or an exploded view if a n Inspire 1 Pro
