5D3 Camera:

1. When the viewfinder is enabled in Photo mode with the 5D3 camera, there is no image transmission, because no data is output via HDMI. When an image is captured in the camera display, image transmission will be interrupted for about 10 seconds, because the HDMI output is interrupted for four seconds.

2. When a photo is captured in Video mode with the 5D3 camera, image transmission will be interrupted for about 13 seconds, because the HDMI output is interrupted for about 10 seconds.

3. In Video mode, image transmission will not be interrupted no matter recording starts or stops.

5D4 Camera:

1. When a photo is captured in Photo mode with the 5D4 camera, image transmission will not be interrupted.

2. In Video mode, when recording starts, the screen will freeze for about two seconds because the HDMI output is obstructed for two seconds. But image transmission will not be interrupted.

GH4 Camera:

For GH4 camera, image transmission will not be interrupted when the HDMI output resolution is set to 1080p.

If HDMI output resolution is set to 4K, there is no image transmission because the SRW-60G and Lightbridge 2 do not support 4K.

A7-S2 and A7-6300 Camera:

1. When a photo is captured in Photo mode with the A7 camera, image transmission will not be interrupted.

2. In Video mode, when the image resolution is set to 4K and recording starts, image transmission will be interrupted for about 10 seconds. When the image resolution is set to 1080p, image transmission will not be interrupted.

Canon 70D is also interrupted when taking fotos, even when preview is disabled on the camera, its takes about 10 seconds before the picture comes back.

It's also worth noting that it's not a fault of SRW-60G with Canon 5D3, in my case. I have bypassed SRW-60G and experienced the same 10-second or so delay after taking a photo.

This is due to the cut of the HDMI feed when activation the shutter, we just changed to the GH4 and here it work with no delay on the feed, when activation the shutter.

Is there a work around to minimize the delay from canon 5D3? You are losing a lot of shooting time if you wait 10 seconds.....
