Dissappointing flight time:   On my 2nd (flawless) S1000 flight, I only got a total flight time of 16:27 before the thing simply landed itself.   Having said that, there was virtually no wind and temp was a moderate 68 degrees. For the first 10 minutes I did some GPS mode flying, some ATT mode one trial taking it down 50 yards and back before I hovered and then  landed and shut the motors off.  Then I spooled them up again and flew only ATT Mode, and generally hovered 15 feet off the ground.  Little or no movement.   The first battery warning light went on at  about 1 minute into the second flight.   Then blinking red light went on at the 6th minute of the second flight and it landed 27 seconds later.
22v 16000 mAp battery, fully charged and balanced.

No load.  No gimbal.

This seems weak.

Thoughts appreciated...

-Peter

What flight controller are you using? Have you checked your 1st and 2nd level voltage warning settings? From what it sounds like, this is just a single battery set up and not two, correct?

Ummm....16 mins on a 16,000 Mill is nothing to complain about...most of us run 22,000 and are happy if we get 15 mins albeit with gimbal and camera. However, running the battery down so it lands by itself is a really bad thing to do...although you'll find some variations in opinions, you should have your second level warning set at 21.5 - 21.7 V (depending on your nerves)...meaning that's when your LED will start blinking red....when its blinking red it means you need to get on the ground....like quick.. but with a breath or two in between....I have seen what a battery that runs out of juice can do to a 1000....it isnt pretty...

Doesn't sound bad to me, I get between 12 and 14 minutes on a 16000 mah battery with Z15/GH4.

Thank you.  I might try two 22v batteries in parallel...

A2 flight controller.  One battery.   I might try two 22v batteries in parallel...

That would give you some extra flight time. If you have not already, you may want to look into your 1st and 2nd level voltage warnings to see if you can get some more flight time as well.
