Hi everyone, relative n00b here.

What is the behavior of the P4P when it comes to taking off from one elevation, and then flying off cliffs or sudden big elevation changes?  I remember an early problem with the mavic was when a guy flew his off a balcony and the drone plummeted downwards, and I've been afraid of doing so ever since :-)

For example, when I take off on top of a cliff, say at 400 ft above ground, then go up 200 more feet, which is the elevation ceiling that applies when I fly beyond the cliff, 600 feet above ground?  Is it based off the home point? If I return to home while beyond the cliff, will the drone actually descend because of the 400 ft height of the cliff?

If you're at the top of a hill, for instance, that take off point will read as 0 ft. and record the altitude from that point. If you rise 20 ft. and go straight off the cliff, it will still read as 20 ft.
