Ok guys quick question. Was trying to airdrop 4K video from my MacBook to my iPad mini 4 taken on the mavic. It would say sending but the video does not show up on my iPad. iPad mini 4 not support 4K?

I think it does. According to the specs:

it says it can record video at 1080p 30fps but under the video formats supported it says H.264 up to 4K, 30fps.

Also weird when I export a 4K video from fcpx I can airdrop to my iPad and it shows up

Usually, the 4K video resolution is about 4096 x 2160 and UHD 4K video resolution is 3840 x 2160.
