Hi,

I recorded 6 video files tonight, and while I'm familiar with a broken/corrupt video file when the Inspire is shut down before stopping the recording, and then restarting the Inspire to let it finish writing the mov file,  the 3rd recording of the 6 could not be 'un-broken'. I tried restarting the Inspire again after the bad file during the import to Premiere, but no go.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. Three files that just will not get fixed.  Searched the web for file recovery utilities...  have not found anything yet.  Let's hope someone has solved this issue.

No, in the App it shows a broken thumbnail. The only thing I've done differently it preview some of the files in the field using the App. and I do remember watching this one. Of course I can't get any program to play it on my Mac

A solution for the future could be by using this.
With this app, at least you would of captured a video with telemetry during flight on yr device.

I found a tool that could repair the corrupt *.mp4 video file from Phantom board.

Thanks for lead... very interesting app to have for a variety of reasons... including pilot log.  since DJI has released maintenance manual and specifying hours flown.  maybe a excellent way to track ALL of your flights.

What's a broken file?   A actual corrupt file or two files that should be one as recorded?

All you need to do is put ur card back into the inspire camera and record for a few seconds and it will close the broken filles and you should be able to view them..

Unfortunately that didn't work like usual.

Luckily Blade was able to help repair the file.

It really needs to be part of the routine that I stop the recording before shut down on every flight for sure.

Glad it's sorted now...
